HGR is a local affinity group for educators involved with STEM and robotics. We gather each year and hold a professional development day where we host a variety of workshops/breakout sessions, discuss local events, and plan for the future. This year’s theme is “Enhancing STEM Education Through Robotics.” 

This event is open to everyone: teachers, mentors, administrators, enthusiasts, and anyone

We are offering workshop strands that would center around robotics, and primarily cover, but not limited to:

  • programming (for competition or computer education)
  • engineering (in robotics, the arts, or other)
  • design (functional, structural, artistic)
  • STEM (or STEaM) in the classroom
