Yvonne Thevenot, M.Ed., is the founder of STEM Kids NYC, a company that bridges the gap between curriculum in urban schools with the immediate need for these schools to prepare students for future STEM opportunities. She currently teaches computer science at Mustard Seed School, a private K-8 school in Hoboken, NJ, and directs an afterschool program in Harlem, where students living in underserved communities are exposed to STEM-based academic programming. Yvonne has a Master of Education degree in K-12 STEM Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.
